Graphics preset

Quick overall quality. Advanced sliders below override individual parts of the active preset. Customizing any slider switches to "Custom".

Follows the selected preset.
Low disables shadows, weather particles, and bloom for maximum FPS. High enables full shadows, particles, and bloom. Medium is a balanced middle ground. "Custom" appears once you tweak any advanced slider — it keeps your overrides while basing the rest on the last real preset you picked.

Advanced graphics

Each slider overrides the preset for that property. Set a slider fully left/right to match the preset, or pick a custom value.

Resolution scale auto
Caps the rendering resolution. Lower = sharper performance, higher = crisper image. "auto" follows the preset.
Smoke / particle count auto
Drift smoke trail density. Lower for performance, higher for richer effects.
Bloom strength auto
Glow intensity on bright surfaces. 0 disables bloom entirely.
Bloom radius auto
How far the bloom glow spreads.
Shadows
Casts dynamic shadows from the sun. Off boosts FPS.
auto (follows preset)
Antialiasing
Smooths jagged edges. Requires a reload to take effect.
Reduce motion
Disables bloom and decorative weather particles. Keeps the game readable for motion-sensitive players.

Volume

Volumes apply immediately if the game is running in another tab.

Engine, skid, and impact sounds.
Music volume 100%
Background race music.

Hud & display

Show FPS counter
Displays a small frame-rate counter while racing.

Ghosts

Show personal best ghost
Replays your best lap as a translucent ghost to race against. Turn off to hide it.
Show recent ghosts
Replays your last few laps as translucent ghosts.
Recent ghost count 3

Camera

Tune the chase camera. "auto" uses the default feel.

Camera distance auto
How far back the camera sits behind the car.
Camera height auto
How high the camera floats above the car.
Camera responsiveness 100%
100% = snappy follow, lower = smoother, looser trailing.

Cloud account

Sign in from the game's Account tab (press E in-game → Account). Then sync your settings here.

Not signed inOpen the game and log in to enable cloud sync.
offline
Settings sync separately from your coins, garage, and campaign progress (those sync from the Account tab). Only the settings slice is managed here.

Local data

Settings always save to this browser's localStorage instantly on every change.

Danger zone

Wipes all Skid Circuit data stored in this browser — settings, coins, garage, campaign, ghosts, account session, installed mods, the lot. Cloud saves are not affected. The game reloads afterwards.

Apply changes

Most changes apply the next time you load the game. If the game is open in another tab, live-applicable settings (graphics preset, audio, camera, FPS) push through immediately.
